Food Glorious Food!
Day one - Monday; My first official day on The Body Coach plan and it all went alright.. sort of. Given that I wasn’t fully prepared I got off to a good start and had a smoothie for breakfast, which was great as I was in a rush. I hadn’t factored in that I’d not gone shopping, and the kids had an extra swim lesson I’d forgotten about. I grabbed a fruit bowl at swimming and then got a call from the orthopaedic surgery asking if I could get my new ankle boot fitted at 2. So by the time that was done I’d totally missed lunch... I grabbed a protein bar then hit the supermarket to make sure I was fully prepped for the rest of the week! I made a fresh pesto pasta for dinner and everyone loved it, although the kids said they liked the jar pesto as it wasn’t as spicy...I think the raw garlic made it taste a bit spicy. Maybe less garlic next time. It was lovely though. This evening I had a bowl of fruit and a blob of Greek yoghurt. I’ve drunk loads of water and feel like I had a good day foo...
