Prep

I’ve been a bit rubbish about prepping for my new week ahead, and didn’t manage to get all the stuff I needed, like food... any food. I instead spent all weekend having fun with my little family and eating lots of yummy food. Not because I was doing a last minute ‘eat all the crap I can’t for 3 months’ (3 months is a long time) but because we were celebrating my sons swimming achievements and having a fun weekend. Due to my lack of prep though it means I really didn’t eat great food, so this has made me all the more aware of how I need to be prepared when going out etc.

Tonight I have gone through the body coach meals and I have made a plan for the week. I’ve written a shopping list and I’m going to buy everything tomorrow. It’s vast! My nice husband went and grabbed me some almond milk so I can have the pb&j smoothie for breakfast, so at least I’m starting on the right track. I’ve had them before and I like them so I know my breakfast will be yum! My meal plan looks awesome for the week and I’m actually genuinely excited to start.

My ankle is getting better day by day. Hopefully by the end of next week I’ll be able to start training a bit more again.  I’m going to try some upper body this week and maybe some crunches and low impact exercises, I’ll see how I get on with those to begin with. Even though it’s my ankle it has impacted everything because I wasn’t able to put any pressure on it at all, even as I write this it’s elevated in a splint.

Also I feel I should add I’m not about to post any photos of me at this time. Maybe if I feel good at the end of cycle one (1 month in) I’ll show a before and after picture, but I’m not ready for the world to see my pizza dough belly (as my kids lovingly call it!).

Wish me luck!

Xx
